Atlantia Offshore: the leading turnkey source for deepwater and ultra-deepwater structures

Atlantia Offshore Limited is unique in the deepwater structures market. We are capable of handling projects on a full turnkey, fixed-cost basis. We have a 25-year history of successful turnkey projects, starting in 1979, acting as prime contractor for more than 150 minimal platform structures for marginal shallow-water fields. In 1999 we committed to applying our minimal-structure concepts and turnkey approach to deepwater development, creating the SeaStar Tension-Leg Platform. Since then, we have delivered four SeaStar TLPs. The most recent was for TOTAL E&P USA INC.'s Matterhorn field in the Gulf of Mexico. This was the first deepwater structure in the Gulf that was bid on a full lump-sum basis, including installation. No other structure company had the turnkey experience and capabilities to take on such a challenge.

On Budget, On Schedule Performance

Atlantia's SeaStar projects have an unequalled record for the shortest time between project sanction and first oil, averaging only 21 months. And all four SeaStar projects were completed on or under budget. Without question, the main reason for this success is our ability to execute and manage all aspects of a project.

We manage, hold, and integrate the contracts for all subcontractors, so we can effectively control project costs and scheduling. We utilize sophisticated, project-proven processes and controls, including PRISM (Project Resources Information System Management), which reduces costs and the number of support personnel needed, eliminates redundant effort, and provides all parties with timely, accurate information.

Unmatched TLP Experience

Atlantia’s TLP design and project execution team has unequalled experience with tension-leg platforms, including direct involvement with most of the TLPs currently installed: Hutton, Jolliet, Snorre, Heidrun, Auger, Mars, Ram-Powell, Ursa, and Marlin, as well as our own.

Complete In-House Expertise

Atlantia’s in-house capabilities include metocean, naval architecture, process facility, riser design and integration specialists, and fabrication and installation teams.
