SBM Offshore Integrates Houston Operations

Houston, TX, March 2, 2007 -

SBM Offshore has announced the integration of two of its Houston Group companies, Atlantia Offshore Limited (Atlantia) and SBM-Imodco Inc., in order to further strengthen the organization in the pursuit and execution of major floating production facility projects.

The new company will be called SBM Atlantia and continue to be based in their current offices on Enclave Parkway in West Houston.

"Atlantia and SBM-Imodco have been working closely together on major floating production facility projects since early 2005 and it has proven to be a very successful experience," said Tony Mace, President. "In view of this experience and anticipating further major projects to be executed within this office, it has been decided to adapt the organization of the two companies into one unit to simplify the management structure and further combine the strengths of both groups."

Bernard van Leggelo, current president of SBM-Imodco, has been appointed President of SBM Atlantia. Tony Mace will transfer to the SBM Offshore offices in Monaco to develop major new products of the Group.

SBM Atlantia's current major turnkey projects include the P53 Turret, the Neptune SeaStar® TLP and the Thunder Hawk DeepDraft Semi™, as well as engineering and project management services for projects executed by other SBM Offshore affiliates, including the Frade FPSO and several TDS drilling semisubmersible units.
